This is part two of a two-part mini series. My goal for this mini series is to really challenge you to think about who you are, what you’re doing, how you’re doing it…and why. Last week’s article presented 25 thought-provoking questions to help you ponder why you DO things. This week, our questions will cause you to consider why you DON’T do things.
Not all of the questions will apply to you. Find one that does and really dig into your answer to see if you can use it to make a powerful, positive change in your life.
Why don’t you fully engage with your current job?
Why don’t you fully engage with your team?
Why don’t you fully engage with your family?
Why don’t you demonstrate what you’re really, really great at more often?
Why don’t you surround yourself with more positive people?
Why don’t you have a mentor?
Why don’t you mentor someone?
Why don’t you eat to fuel yourself for peak performance (instead of, you know, eating crap)?
Why don’t you schedule time to exercise?
Why don’t you celebrate your successes?
Why don’t you read more books?
Why don’t you take a day (or week, or month) off of TV?
Why don’t you ever just sit and think?
Why don’t you share your brilliant ideas with the world?
Why don’t you experience nature more often?
Why don’t you stand up for what you believe?
Why don’t you praise and encourage your team more?
Why don’t you praise and encourage your boss…ever?
Why don’t you hold people accountable?
Why don’t you spend your own time & money to get better at your job?
Why don’t you smile more?
Why don’t you laugh more?
Why don’t you focus?
Why don’t you stop that bad habit? Not next week. Not tomorrow. Right now.
Why don’t you share this list of questions with your team, your boss, and your family?
